We are regulars when in Svoronata, tonight was tuna salad, just perfect in presentation and taste. Then the orange cake and baclava with ice cream is just the perfect ending to THE best night. A very nice restaurant with very delicious, truly local cuisine. We ate the chicken gyros, and it was amazing. A speciality is the tzatziki sauce, which cannot be replicated. Worth it! The toilet is also very clean and taken care of. The wait time was a bit longer, but only because of a big elderly UK club.

Well worth a visit but probably best to book a table as others state. Wanted to also come for lunch but (July 25) they didn’t open until 14:00.

A fantastic family run taverna specialising in traditional Greek cuisine. Home cooking at its best! Can definitely recommend. Friendly service as well. Saga maki with feta starter is perfection!! The tiny tomatoes burst with flavour. Garlic bread was out of this world!! Chicken souvlaki was very tasty Rib eye steak exceptional!! Well worth a visit! 😍

We came here today for lunch. I had beef stifado my partner had lamb kleftico .food was excellent as was the orange cake. We enjoyed the local wines too. Very pleasant waitress. Highly recommended. We will be back.

This was an amazing little place recommended by Josh the barman of our hotel The Blue Horizon. Being vegetarian the food choices were so good for me. The staff where so friendly and the atmosphere was so homely I would highly recommend.

What a little gem! Recommended this place by hotel staff. Lovely views toward the sea. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the food delicious. The steak and chips was massive! Would recommend, and would definitely go again...😀

Had beef stifado and lamb kebab, both delicious and tasty. The restaurant was across from where we were staying and I'm sure we will be back before we leave. Reasonably priced. Lovely place would recommend.

Beautiful Taverna with lovely views of the sea. Delicious soya veggie gyros. Friendly staff who speak good English. Packed most night so worth booking or coming early (around 6)

Back to la tavolata after a year back home, yet again the meal (chicken gyros) was out of this world. The two ladies running this restaurant welcome you with open arms and are the two most friendly kefalonians you would care to meet, fab setting fab meals and drinks well done la tavolata all round excellence.

The best restaurant in the area, we ate here 3 times in 7 nights as the food and atmosphere were so amazing! The fries here are the best! Greek salad incredible, feta in filo pastry was amazing, my husband had the kleftiko and the meat was so nice. We are considering coming back to Kefalonia just for this restaurant!
